Hold Your Ground
written by Katy Durnford 22/11/2016
Like the snow the tear falls
it glistens in the light!
Your grief it listens to the plight!
Hold your ground and stand tall!

By the time the mist clears
you are beholden to the seers!
But with the tear when it falls
hold your ground and stand tall!
In time it swells like water!
It cascades into a memory!
It washes away the fears
so let go of all the tears!
It was like the snow
it was clear and crisp!
Hold your ground,
it was in a wisp!
A memory it was cold
just be so bold!
But with the tear when it falls
hold your ground and stand tall!
Don’t be alarmed be in jubilation
for the tear had fallen to the ground!
Be for the service of the fellows
stand tall it has found!
Be that of the tear is like snow
it glistens in the light!
But with the tear when it falls
let it clear your sight!
