Mother Earth

Listen to this article
Scorching heat melts the Earth
and wildlife and Man roam it’s turf.
Oceans pound the shoreline soaking up the sand
plants adorn the land.
It’s roaming countryside is forever green
and the insects and life can be seen.
Wind turnbines fuel the dwellings
and the new method of supplying fuel to people is keen.
Green grass carpets the landscape
with forests and mountains high.
Trees grow tall in the woodland
and nearly reach the sky.
The distance hills fall into the sea
and the dancing plants and flowers bring colour.
Food is harvested by the farmers and folk
in all weathers and in rain getting soaked.
Each view is fresh in the morning after rain
and the windows remain open until it rains again.
In the twighlight the light starts to fade
In beauty Earth has made the grade!
