A Years End

Listen to this article
As The Seasons change around us,
and the light begins to fade.
The Autumn turns into Winter,
and the snow begins.

The crisp air fills our lungs,
the leaves and ice crunch under foot.
Different insects emerge,
from dawn to dusk.

Fires burn old garden waste,
from the Summer outgrown plants.
The seasonal plants make haste,
and they swap over.

The moon and stars stay static in the sky,
whilst the trees shred their leaves.
The animals are aware of this,
whilst we are sleeping in our abyss.

Dry nights and sunny days, sometimes it rains.
What ever the weather does, the Seasons always change.
Brighten the day when it is sun.
The Winter flowers are in bloom.
