Summer’s End

Listen to this article
Shorter days are now coming in,
Summer comes to a close.
Be indoors in bad weather,
with wool socks, covering your toes!

In the middle of the year has been, with it’s hot glorious days,
then it clouds over and rain stays.
Get up in the morning and light the fire,
some sun comes through later.

Autumn is here, with the fall and ice.
Earth has cooled down.
During the nice weather in the Fall,
the heat takes away the frowns.

Changing colours are around us,
skies grow dark.
Crunchy leaves scatter the ground,
all crispy and brown.

It need not be dull when it ends,
the mild days make up for the rain.
The scents linger on on the air,
and another Season of heat, we shall gain!
